New Patient and Surgical Coordinator
Rebecca has been with BSNI since 2004, holding various positions throughout her tenure. She comments “by far my most rewarding is the one I currently hold. As the New Patient Coordinator, I enjoy being the first line of contact to our wonderful practice, assisting patients, and making sure they are seen as efficiently as possible.” As the Surgical Coordinator, Rebecca hopes to ease some stress and worry while assisting patients through their surgical experience with BSNI.
Rebecca has been a lifelong resident of Rhode Island. She graduated from the Community College of Rhode Island and attended Rhode Island College to earn a degree in Social Work. Rebecca is married with three children, and is very active in her community and church. She enjoys spending her downtime in the mountains, cross-country skiing, and hiking.

Kerri Forman grew up in East Greenwich, RI, but currently lives in Chepachet, RI with her fiance and daughter. After high school, she attended the New England Institute of Technology where she received her Associate of Science with a specialty in Surgical Technology. She graduated in 2011 and began working at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital full time as a Certified Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room. Neurosurgery was always one of her favorite surgeries to scrub in at Fatima, where she had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Das and Mohini Yalanis RNP. She quickly became the main surgical tech that scrubbed with Dr. Das on his cases. After 6 years of working at Fatima, Dr. Das offered Kerri a full-time job to come work for him at BSNI and, of course, was highly honored and accepted. Kerri still works per diem at Fatima as she feels that maintaining her skills and basic knowledge as a surgical tech is very beneficial for the patients. She is better able to answer or explain questions about surgery that patients may have.
Kerri’s position at BSNI is one of many tasks, but most often assists Dr. Das in his clinics when he sees patients or performs injections. When she is not in the office, Kerri works for an Intraoperative Monitoring Company and specializes in monitoring Neurosurgery cases in the operating room of various hospitals. As an Intraoperative Monitoring Technologist, Kerri has been able to bring even more knowledge of Neurosurgery to BSNI, which benefits patients that come into the office with surgical appointments. Kerri is able to ease any questions or concerns about surgery’s physical aspects.
When she is not working, Kerri loves to spend time with her daughter and fiance. She comments, “living in Chepachet ‘Foster/Gloucester’ is incredible. There is always something to do.” Some of her activities are hiking the local trails, swimming, and hanging out on the boat at the spring-fed pond near her home. She calls it her “little oasis from reality.” When she really want to kick it up a notch, Kerri has tons of family and friends over for a BBQ and a round of lawn games so everyone can enjoy the area she calls home.
